Memories...

I got this from a couple of my sister's blogs. I thought this would be fun. I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

3. I'm adding one more: If I don't know you (and THANK YOU FOR COMING), please leave me a note saying hello and introducing yourself. I see visits from all over the country, including OUT of the country, and I'd love to know who's visiting my blog.

Here we go...

Hmmm let's see...I remember coming down to the Creamery and you working, I remember your crazy side hair-do for one of the high school dances (I think Margail may have helped you with it) I also loved getting to go to Val Vista Lakes and swim when you worked there. I remember getting a nice, thoughtful card from you as well as a box of oatmeal creme pies when I was going through a rough time many years ago. I also remember lots of batches of homemade chocolate chip cookies...yum still my favorite!!!

First thing to come to mind was the night that you and Andrea came over to decide if you wanted to move in. That was a fun night to me, for some reason.

LOT'S of memories... love you!

Singing at the piano while you played. I don't remember what church occasion it was for. It reminded me of singing with my sisters- comfortable and sweet.

I remember sitting next to you and Shawna my first Sunday in Gilbert Ranch ward (some months back) and feeling a little less nervous/a little better because I knew someone else in the ward. Thanks!!

Let's see, there are the countless dinner outings we have been out together on, or even our recent trip to UT (thanks again). I think what sticks out with me the most is trying to help Jenn surprise you for your birthday. You will have to admit that she finally got you this year!

I remeber you as a really good singer and piano player. I really wish I could remember more. I wish our familys could have been closer.

I remember sitting on the primary piano bench and just talking... I remember you saving my butt a few times when I forgot how a song went and what-not too. :)

You are an amazing person and I'm lucky to have met you!

I have not commented yet because I didn't know what memory to write. So let's start with the most recent...Gilmore Girls. Thanks for introducing me to them and forceing me to watch. Thanks for giving me a reason to let everything go because I am adictited! I remember the first time I told you about Ron and him kissing me on the first date and you saying "we don't date guys like that!" Wow you really didn't know Ron. I like you remember you being oh so bossy when it came to being the mom, being the teacher, and being in charge. I remember The Creamery and what a great job to have in high school. I remember having you there when I started Mesa High I wasn't so nervous because of you. Oh yea how can I forget the best thing of them all...I remember you saying that you will pick up Taralee and take her home every Sunday so I can enjoy RS, she can enjoy a nap, and my family can enjoy a prepared meal with their favorite Aunt Tara when we get home from church. ;O)Thanks you are wonderful!

Hi Tara! I haven't looked at your blog forever so I'm just adding to this post from August. By the way, I don't have a blog, so outdated I know, so don't bother trying to go there. One of my favorite memories is making chocolate chip cookies at your house (I just saw that it burned down, how sad) as kids. You guys had an awesome mixer! We just put everything in and turned it on and presto, cookie dough's done. Not like at my house, the whole mixing by hand thing. You always made the best cookies too. I also remember that you introduced me to cream cheese sandwiches. They were weird, but I still ate them. I can't say that I've ever had another. Take care and keep gazelle intense!
Love,
